I enjoyed a little sightseeing in Takamatsu City. I went to Tamamo Park, a short walk from the ferry terminal. Here you can see Takamatsu Castle, also known as Tamamo Castle.

Here you can see Takamatsu Castle, also known as Tamamo Castle.
Nishikigoi usually swim in the castle moat, but in Takamatsu Castle, black sea bream swims!
Because the castle is close to the sea, young fish enter the moat and continue to grow.
You can also feed😁
The castle itself is no longer there, but the ruins were open to the public.
I was quite shocked to hear that the reason the castle was torn down was "due to decrepitude" during the Meiji era...
I wonder if the Meiji Restoration had made people disregard the Japanese traditions that had been in place up until then.
It seems to me now, though, that if it was destroyed, it would never come back...
I thought that it is not possible to preserve historical buildings without the efforts of local people.
Tamamo Park also has a lovely Japanese garden!
So today, the last day in Kagawa, I decided to go to Sanuki City.
Sanuki City's pokefuta is located near Shido Station on the Kotoku Line.
A short train ride from Takamatsu Station to Shido Station.
There was a Slowpoke and Clefairy pokefuta on the street just outside the station(*ノシˊᗜˋ*)ノシ
Too cute...!
Shooting with Clefairy waving her finger💕
I took a walk around Shido Station for a while.
Walking toward the sea from the exit in the opposite direction of Clefairy's pokefuta, I found Sanuki City Hall and the Hiraga Gennai Memorial Museum.
Hiraga Gennai was an old Japanese inventor.
As I was walking along, I saw a sign for Shidoji Temple, so I decided to go there.
There were a few groups of pilgrims.
I saw a magnificent pagoda and was able to find it easily.
It is a very splendid temple...!
A powerful statue of Nio by the gate.
I feel the history...!
I passed through the gate and visited the temple.
Inside, the greenery was beautiful and garden-like, and I was able to take a leisurely stroll with the sutra read by a group of pilgrims as background music.
Returning to Shido Station, I took advantage of the time waiting for the train to go to Kamadoya, a confectionery shop in front of the station.
The Kamado pie I bought here was delicious.
Back to Takamatsu
Time to buy souvenirs!!!✨✨
I was so excited to see so many products in collaboration with slowpoke.
The slowpoke brooch made of flour is my favorite.
Slowpoke kawara senbei are also cute.
Be careful with the kawara senbei, they are as hard as concrete :)
I think it is great that Kagawa Prefecture uses slowpoke to promote its prefectural products.
Takamatsu Airport on the way home was also covered with slowpoke!💕💕💕
In addition to Kagawa Prefecture's love of slowpoke, I was also pleased by Pokémon's contribution to regional development.
I was able to visit only six of the 17 pokefuta in Kagawa.
It was not as easy as I thought it would be.
I'll have to go back!
But I want to come back!
It was a wonderful prefecture!
