I enjoyed a little sightseeing in Takamatsu City. I went to Tamamo Park, a short walk from the ferry terminal. Here you can see Takamatsu Castle, also known as Tamamo Castle.
It was a weekend when I didn't have any plans.
I decided to go to Utsunomiya for a one-day trip to proceed with the PokéFuta completion.Utsunomiya is only one line from Tokyo by Shonan-Shinjuku line.
It must be easy!
First of all, I decided to go from the Pokefuta in Romantic Village, the farthest from Utsunomiya Station.
Romantic Village is a "michi no eki" which means "station of load" in English.
"michi no eki" are facilities where you can take a break from driving in various ways, such as purchasing local products, eating at restaurants, and taking restroom breaks.
Most are located far from train stations and along major highways.
It took about one hour from Utsunomiya Station by bus.
It's quite far from the station.......it's in the middle of the forest.
Romantic Village is a big michi no eki. It have a hot spring facility, and was crowded with families.
The Pokefuta is placed on the right side of the entrance.
Electrike and Crustle are drawn on it.
Utsunomiya has a lot of thunderstorms, so electric-type Pokémon are used.
I looked at the local products sold and took a walk in the forest while I waited for the bus back to Utsunomiya.
There was a restaurant, but I didn't eat there because I wanted to go back to the city area and visit Utsunomiya Gyoza restaurant.
Utsunomiya is famous for Gyoza!
By the way, there were several buses an hour, so transportation was good!
We got off at the bus stop near the prefectural office and headed for the Pokefuta in Hachimanyama Park.
From the bus stop, pass the Gyoza Street lined with Utsunomiya Gyoza restaurants and head for Hachimanyama Park.
This place, which I thought was relatively close to the city center and easy to reach, was the most difficult to reach.
If you look at Google Maps, the straight line distances are close, but there are elevation differences that are not legible from the map.
Hachimanyama Park is on a small hill.
It was a hot day and I was drenched in sweat!
The park is full of kid-friendly playgrounds!
Everyone has kids!
And they came by car!
The pokefuta was in the middle of a park crowded with children.
There are two PokéStops of Pokefuta here.
I wonder if some trainers took pictures and applied for before the official Pokéstop was created.
It is in an interesting state:)
Back in the city, I wanted to try some famous gyoza dumplings on the way to Gyoza Street, but there was a long queue even though it was after 3 p.m.!
Minmin is a famous restrant.
I headed toward the station and walked around to try to find a restaurant where seats are available.
Then, Kenta Gyoza Restaurant in front of the station, which had a long line when we saw it in the morning, was open, so we decided to have a late lunch here.
Super delicious!
I felt the power to go to the last Pokefuta
Now, the last Pokefuta was the easiest to go to, Utsunomiya Station East Park.
It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the station.
It's a park in the city center, so it's easy to walk there.
At the end of a row of gingko trees, I found a cute Skwovet Pokefuta!
If I came here in autumn, when the ginkgo leaves turn yellow, I could have taken a better picture.
There were a lot of people who came to see a Pokefuta when I relaxed for a while in this park.
In Utsunomiya station, I found frozen Utsunomiya Gyoza from a famous restaurant in.
There seemed to be so many restaurants and so many products that I didn't know which one to choose!
When I got home, I had it cooked.
It was juicy and delicious, but I'd love to try it in a restaurant...
Utsunomiya, it was surprisingly hard work, but I'm glad I was able to complete three Pokefuta.
