I went back to Takamatsu City from Shodoshima Island, and traveled along the Yosan Line to visit more pokefuta.

One night after landing in Shikoku for the first time, this day, I was going to Shodoshima. Shodoshima is an island in the Seto Inland Sea, famous for its olive groves.

 In October, I went to Kagawa Prefecture, famous for its udon noodles. It was my first time here, but it was conveniently close to Takamatsu Airport and the city center. I found Slowpoke bus!

 Saying goodbye to the big city of Sendai once, I headed for Shiroishi City. The Shiroishi's pokefuta is located at Shiroishi Castle, about a 20-30 minute walk from Shiroishi Zao Station. After a short walk up stone steps, I saw the castle. Great views and panoramic views over the city of Shiroishi. Due to renovation work, the pokefuta was not in its original location, but was displayed in the reference library. I didn't know about a Pokémon called  Nickit  since I stopped playing Pokemon series at Sapphire, but I guess it's inspired by the fox Village in Shiroishi. Blue soumen noodles with a Laplace motif were sold at the souvenir shop attached to the reference library. I decided to go sightseeing in Kitsune Village. It takes about 30 minutes by taxi from Shiraishi Castle and costs about 4300 yen. The bus only runs on weekends. I watched REAL Nickit!  From Matsushima, I arrived at Sendai, my base for this trip.

 October is the beginning of autumn. I had been planning to go on a trip to Miyagi Prefecture for some time.  Miyagi prefecture's ambassadorial Pokémon is Lapras. Each city, town or village can negotiate on its own to locate its own pokefuta. However, if the prefecture sets a ambassadorial Pokémon, pokefutas with that Pokémon on them will be placed throughout the municipalities under the prefecture. It is very hard to complete everything, but It will be challenging.
